Here are some of my favorite treats to bring to the beach. I like that everything is a finger food so you don't need plates or utensils. It is always important to stay hydrated, so bring lots of water or Gatorade. My favorite drink to bring is the orange flavored Gatorade. Try to avoid sugary drinks because they will leave you thirsty and dehydrated. The last thing you need at the beach is to feel bloated, so it's best to eat fruits or veggies. Plus, you will be eating foods that fill you up and are healthy without getting that feeling that you overate. Although, healthy snacks are the way to go, chips are a yummy and easy snack. I like balance out my healthy snacks with a bit of sweet (like mini candy bars or Jolly Ranchers) and salty. I love fruits, but I have a sweet tooth like no one I know, so I always pack a few sweets. If I know I'm going to be at the beach for a long time, I sometimes pack sandwiches or stop at Subway (I love Subway!). I throw everything in a cooler with a few ice packs and I'm good to go!
